It is an hexahidric alcohol that can be formulated as C6H8(OH)6. It is produced by catalytic hidrogenation of dextrose and is presented in solution form with a content of 64'-68 g of solid for each 100 g fulfilling the norms USP-33.

Solubility: Very soluble in water and insoluble in other organic solvents.

Higroscopicity: It retains the humidity in the final products, it doesn't fluctuate with relationship to the relative humidity protecting to the product of the environmental variations.

Stability: It is more stable against the attack of the acids and solutions moderated alkalis oxidizer and in  heat conditions of the monosaccharides.

Physiologic: It is not toxic neither irritating.

Storage:

It is not corrosive neither volatile, The storage temperature should be bigger than 22°C.

Presentation:

In Bag in Box of 900 L (20 x container of 20 feet).

In bulk in  Flexitank of 20 MT (1 x container of 20 feet).
